Nectarine Kuchen
Spring Form Pan

Pre heat oven to 350 F

Basic Kuchen Dough

Fruit Filling:
5-7 medium peaches or nectarines
1 -2 tablespoons sugar or Truvia
1 /2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/ 2 teaspoon cinnamon

Streusal
1/4 cup white sugar or you can use brown or combination
1/2 cup white flour
4 tablespoons softened butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

1. Use your choice of kuchen dough and put it together.

2. For this type of kuchen I used a simple Streusal, one, with flour, sugar, butter and cinnamon.

3. Work the streusal with a spoon and fingers till you get small crumbles.

4. Cut, pit and slice the each half into nice thick wedges so they keep their shape.
Coat with a little sugar or Truvia

5. Press the dough into a spring form pan and push the sides up a bit, then place the nectarines cut side up in a circle around the edge, then make another row inside that one.

6. Bake the Kuchen for 35 -40 min at 350 till nice and brown on top. You'll notice bubbling happening which tells you that the fruit is cooked. Remove kuchen and place on a rack to cool for an hour before you remove from the pan.

Serve with whipped cream.
