Quarkkartoffeln

This is a simple recipe, usually as a time saver, and a Friday meal for Catholics (back then) but very delicious and HEALTHY.

Ingredients:

serves 4 people

4 large potatoes or 8 medium sized.

*1 container of Quark
(250grams or 500 grams, Magerstufe, or 40% fett Stufe or higher)

1 Tblsp Fresh Dill ( 1 tsp dried )
1 Tblsp Fresh Parsley ( 1 tsp dried)
2 tblsp fresh chives. ( or green onion tops)
1 / 4 tsp (2 drops) Lemon juice
1 tblsp milk , more if desired

Instructions:

1. Boil potatoes until just done. (Till just tender for a fork to go in.)

2. Mix a little milk in ithe quark until you have the consistency that you like.

3. Beat it, add a drop of lemon juice and lots of herbs (parsley, chives and a little dill, if you wish).

4. When the potatoes are done you slice them in half, peel the skin off and spoon the amount of the herbed Quark you wish to go over the potato
