Ingredients ;

6 EGGS
1 CUP CREAM
1 CUP BUTTERMILK
1 CUP SUGAR
3TSP. BAKING POWDER
1 TSP. SODA ½ TSP. SALT VANILLA (optional
)

BEAT EGGS, CREAM AND SUGAR. COMBINE FLOUR BAKING POWDER AND SALT. ADD SODA TO BUTTERMILK. ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE.USE ENOUGH FLOUR FOR A MEDIUM STIFF DOUGH. ROLL OUT DOUGH.. ABOUT ½ INCH THICK CUT INTO STRIPs.

MAKE A SLIT IN THE MIDDLE AND PULL ONE END THROUGH.. DEEP FRY IN OIL .. DUST WITH ICING SUGAR AND OR SUGAR .. SERVE WITH A GOOD HOMEMADE GERMAN POTATO SOUP AS MY MOM DID.. mjtj@shaw.ca if you any QUESTIONS ?
